FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – May 20th, 2026 is National Clinical Trials Recognition Day. For 20 years, the JWM Neurology Research Department has been built not just by professionals, but by people – Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Clinical Research Coordinators, and the patients who have trusted us with their stories, their struggles and their hope.
Together, we have created something lasting: a place where science meets compassion, and where every clinical study is driven by the belief that life can be better. Over these past two decades, we have walked alongside individuals living with Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Migraines, Restless Legs Syndrome, Alzheimer’s Disease, Agitation in Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease, Parkinson’s Dementia, Lewy Body Dementia, Tourette’s and many other neurological conditions.
We have witnessed and celebrated new treatments when they reach the market – treatments that now change patient lives every single day. And even when a therapy did not make it to approval, the knowledge gained brought us one step closer to understanding the conditions our patients face every day with great courage. At JWM, we are humbled by the trust our community places in us. Every patient who has walked through our doors has helped shape the future of care. Every family member who has stood beside them has reminded us why this work matters.
The core mission of our Research Department has always been simple:

- To offer hope where there has been frustration.
- To fight for progress, even when cures feel far away.
If we can make life even a little better – ease a symptom, offer an option, bring comfort or clarity – we will continue to have hope and stand with our patients every step of the way.
Twenty years is a milestone, but it is also a promise. A promise that JWM Neurology will keep pushing, keep learning, and keep fighting for the people who inspire us every day.
